DropAce Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 November 2026

DropAce is a tennis score tracker for Android phones and Wear OS watches. This policy explains what data the app handles, where it is stored, and who else receives any of it.

Short version: your matches, photos and profile stay on your device. The only data that leaves it is what is needed to process a subscription purchase.

Data that stays on your device

The app stores the following only on your phone, in the app's private storage:

We have no servers that receive this data. There are no accounts and no cloud sync. We cannot see your profile, photos or match history.

Photos and videos

You pick photos for your profile, for opponents and for share cards, and videos for video share cards, with the Android system picker. The app only gets the files you choose and does not ask for access to your whole gallery.

A profile or opponent photo is cropped and copied into the app's private storage. A share card is created on your device. It leaves the app only when you tap Share and pick an app, or when you tap Download and save it to your gallery.

Wear OS watch

If you use the DropAce watch app, the watch records points and, during a match, reads heart rate, calories and steps through the Health Services API to calculate distance. This needs the body sensors and physical activity permissions on the watch.

The watch sends the finished match and these metrics to your phone through Google Play services (the Wearable Data Layer), which connects only your own paired devices. Neither is sent to us or to any other server by the app.

Distance is estimated from steps, not from GPS. The app does not use location.

Notifications

When a match arrives from your watch, the phone shows a local notification. It is created on the device. The app does not use push notification services and sends no notifications from a server.

Subscriptions and purchases

DropAce offers an optional paid subscription (DropAce PRO), with a free trial for eligible new subscribers. Purchases are handled by Google Play Billing, and subscription status is managed with RevenueCat, a subscription service provider.

What is shared in this process:

The anonymous identifier is not linked to your name or email. If you uninstall and reinstall the app, a new identifier is created, and your subscription is restored from your Google account.

RevenueCat's own policy describes how it handles this data: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy

What we do not do

Permissions

Retention and deleting your data

Data on your device stays until you delete it. You can delete a match or an opponent inside the app, and uninstalling the app removes everything it stored on the phone. The app does not back up its data to Google, so it is not restored after a reinstall.

Purchase records are kept by Google and RevenueCat for as long as their own policies and legal obligations require. RevenueCat holds only the anonymous identifier, not your name or email, so we usually cannot match a request to a specific record. If you want to ask about it, write to loveall.dev@gmail.com and describe the purchase (date and Google order number) and we will do what we can.

Children

DropAce is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. The app asks for no age and has no accounts. If you are a parent and think a child has used the subscription, contact us at loveall.dev@gmail.com.

Changes to this policy

If the app starts handling data in a new way, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change reaches users. Material changes will also be described in the release notes.
